Kids

The Lookout is the children’s ministry at Spirit Chapel.

We believe in partnering with parents to help children become fully devoted followers of Jesus. Through age-specific lessons, activities, and small groups, children ages 4 through 11 learn biblical truths and real-life lessons they can apply to their lives every Sunday morning in the Lookout.

(Teenagers have an age appropriate breakout at the same time in “The Loft”)

We also provide a library of fun videos for parents to share with their children at home. Checkout some of the past videos here:

FAQ

What will my child learn at Spirit Chapel Kids Program?

The Bible is the most amazing book ever written, and we strive to bring its stories to life through creative activities and discussions that keep kids engaged. We want every child to love God’s Word and understand the value of applying it to their lives. We know they’ll have fun each week as they learn about who God is through games, activities, small groups, and video teaching.

How do I check my child in to The Lookout or Loft?

Everyone comes to the main Chapel building to start. After the opening video, and worship time (usually 2 songs) We dismiss everyone under 15 years of age to head to the Loft and Lookout. The teachers will walk with the kids to their special area which is located in the building next to Spirit Chapel. You are welcome to go with your child as they leave, to help them get settled if you like.

How does Spirit Chapel ensure my kid is safe and secure?

Safety is one of our highest priorities. That’s why we have deadbolt locks on the access doors to the Children’s area. Once the program has started no one can enter that area without someone from Spirit Chapel staff going with them. (Of course, the doors open from the inside to allow easy exit in case of an emergency.) And the beauty of being a small church is that everyone knows everyone. No one ever gets lost in the shuffle at Spirit Chapel!
